I really enjoyed this one. It was personal, it was modern. The language and themes were beautiful. I felt each poem was progressively better, drawing me further and further into her themes. I love imagery of the desert. It was a quick read, but powerful. One of her poems quoted Tommy Orange which was fun, since I just read his book. I’ll definitely read any of her future books.
